A new craze of jokes has been going viral around the internet. A “Funny Riddle” is a riddle with a difference because it serves a twofold purpose.
Firstly, just like any other riddle, a funny riddle is a question that gets you thinking outside the square. But secondly, it will also make you laugh because the answer is so clever and witty at the same time.
A great example of a funny riddles would be – What has four wheels and flies? A garbage truck!
As you can tell, this riddle uses a pun on the word “flies” to have a double meaning which makes people laugh (if they have a good sense of humor of course.)
Now, these funny riddles are not to be confused with insults jokes. An insult joke is more of a joke that ends up with someone getting roasted in some way.
An example of an insult jokes is A school teacher wanted to educate her students about self esteem, so she asked anyone who thought they were stupis to stand up. One child in her class stood up and the teacher was really surprised. She didn’t anticipate that anyone would stand up so she asks him, “why did you stand up?”. He answers “I didn’t want to leave you standing up by yourself”.
As you can see, whilst this is also funny it doesn’t have the same structure as a funny riddle and makes the audience laugh in a different way.
